Overview
After spending over twenty years in developing and providing application software solutions, in ERP, including HRMS and BI, in both North American and Greater China, it occurred to me that the missing piece for ERP solution, ERP as in a general sense of all software that deployed by an organization, is the decision layer that a decision maker often times lacks of a dynamic, easy to use tool, to help them with the complex decision cycle. At end, most decisions made today are reactive, if not knee-jerked, and based on gut feel. With all the ERP, including HRMS and BI, investments in millions of dollars, a corporate decision maker is seriously lacked of a proper tool to help him/her with the last kick into the goal(ÁÙÃÅÒ»½Å), to make a smart decision.
Many executives I talked to, since I got interested in Business Modeling, the major challenge that they are facing today is lack of accurate and reliable analytical reports/data that they can rely on to make critical decisions. Many companies have saved and collected a pool of data in their ERP back end system, but how to fully and effectively make use of this data and turn it into readable and valuable information throughout the business process is still a challenge. After I started to work with some well-known international retail companies, I found that they can significantly improve their inventory efficiency and sales performance if they deploy the right business models.
I always want to be an evangelist on introducing a new thinking or tool into a business. I believe I found a Solution that would help a company, before making a strategic decision, actually take a closer review at the number presented, as revenue growth rate, market trend, hidden cost, potential risks, currency fluctuation, before a decision is made.
